CACD500 was launched in 2014 with the aim of demonstrating the size, diversity and value of the Community Arts and Cultural Development (CACD) sector by documenting over 500 CACD projects online.
The fantastic projects being contributioned are providing a snapshot that demonstrates the extent of CACD practice throughout Australia and also the work of Australian artists working internationally.
In 2015, Creating Australia are taking CACD500 to a new level to gain a deeper understanding of the nature of CACD practice by building a national archive of CACD projects.
The next step in the CACD500 initiative is to establish a national data set and undertake longitudinal evidence-based research within the sector to assess on-going impact of CACD practice within communities.
We would love you to be part of this ongoing project so please keep contributing by adding all your latest projects and we will be contacting you as the project continues.
Together we can demonstrate just how expansive the CACD sector is and add some meaningful data to current research
